What should I wear? Dress comfortable. Layers always work the best. It is easier to remove something if you are too hot. Make sure to bring a warm jacket and rain gear on fishing tours, 15 miles out in the ocean can be chilly at times. As the saying goes in Maine, if you don't like the weather, wait a minute. Rubber sole shoes or sneakers are best for footware.
Should I bring my own food? Yes Please pack your food & beverages in a cooler.
Can I bring alcoholic beverages with me? All passengers 21 years of age and older are welcome to enjoy a few beverages (beer or wine). No hard liquor or drugs will be tolerated. For your safety as well as for the safety of your captain and crew, we ask that you limit your consumption of alcohol. For safety reasons, intoxication is strictly forbidden and will result in the immediate return to the harbor.
In accordance with U.S. Coast Guard regulations, we operate under a "Zero Tolerance" drug policy.
Should I bring my own fishing gear? The boat is fully equipped with the rods, reels, bait etc...If you have a favorite rod and reel please feel free to bring it along. (For fishing tours only, there is no fishing allowed on sightseeing tours)
What other items should I bring? Sunscreen, sunglasses, hats, Cameras, binoculars, etc. Appropriate medication for motion sickness, if you don't have sea legs.
Do I get to keep the fish I catch? You are more than welcome to keep any fish within the legal limits you catch. We will fillet the fish as requested for a small fee.
What happens if the weather is bad and the tour has to be cancelled? If the trip is cancelled due to bad weather, it will be rescheduled at the soonest possible mutually agreed upon date, or your deposit will be refunded.
What am I responsible for? The only thing you are responsible for is lost or broken gear.
